People Schuler Hydroforming, Inc., Canton, MI, a member of the Schuler Group headquartered in Goeppingen, Germany, has appointed Tim Werding to be its President and CEO. In his former position as a General Manager at Schuler Hydroforming Inc. Werding built up the Schuler Hydroforming Technology Center in Canton, MI as a green field facility that now operates two hydroforming presses for prototyping and series production. Werding holds a master in mechanical engineering from the University of Siegen, Germany and Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the TPA Fabricator Council and the Secretary of the ASME B5 TC30 committee on power presses.

Schuler Hydroforming Inc. supplies manufacturing systems using hydroforming technology. In addition the company develops hydroforming parts and processes in cooperation with the automotive and appliance industry. For prototyping and series production two Schuler hydroforming presses with capacities of up to 9.250 U.S. tons are available.
